JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION                              :          MANAGER

DEPARTMENT                      :          STRATEGIC PLANNING AND INVESTMENT                                 

REPORTING TO                   :         GENERAL MANAGER, STRATEGIC PLANNING & INVESTMENT

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Participate in proposed development and/or investment proposals opportunities from initiation, evaluation, research and negotiation
  2. Prepare papers and proposals for presentation to the Top Management and Board of Directors to attain direction and decisions on corporate and investment matters
  3. Implement and monitor strategic plans for Landasan Lumayan Sdn Bhd’s growth and expansion and supervise the translation of key strategies into detailed action plans
  4. Analyse and reports on the key drivers of business and company performance
  5. Assist on the preparation and establishment of financial models, annual budgets, operating plans and forecast
  6. Assists on various financial analysis i.e IRR, NPV, ROI
  7. Collate information and data for the purpose of the development of strategic planning and business positioning against the industry in the formulation of strategies, plans and objectives
  8. Liaise, co-ordinate and communicate with advisors, auditors, solicitors, bankers, valuers and relevant authorities for all corporate exercises.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Economics / Finance / Accountancy / Business Studies / Administration / Investment / Engineering / Law or equivalent.
  2. At least 5 years of working experience in investment banking or financial advisory is required for this position.
  3. Exposure to merger and acquisition exercise and fund arising activities.
  4. Experience in corporate transformational programme.
  5. Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
  6. Intermediate / Advance in Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint.
  7. Excellent communication skills in both writing and verbal.
  8. Preferably Managers specializing in Finance – Corporate Finance/ Investment or equivalent.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop the company’s business strategy including competitor and SWOT analysis.
  2. Working as the main person in marketing and selling the company’s product.
  3. Identifying potential business partners.
  4. Assisting all business unit in term of executing their business plan.
  5. Preparing reports and correspondence pertaining to the business.
  6. Perform any other duties, tasks or assignment which will be directed / assigned by Superior from time to time as deem necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. A graduate in business related field : marketing, sales, finance or economic.
  2. A professional qualification or post graduate degree is an added advantage.
  3. Excellent in communication, verbal and written.
  4. Must be a persistence person.
  5. Must be a team player.
  6. Working experience : 5 – 10 years as business development person
