JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION : SENIOR EXECUTIVE
DEPARTMENT : STRATEGIC PLANNING AND INVESTMENT
REPORTING TO : MANAGER, STRATEGIC PLANNING AND INVESTMENT
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in preparation of the Company’s Annual Business Plan workshop including formulating the direction, target and KPIs for the new and ongoing initiatives / business activities.
- Assist in providing budget and financial support through budget planning, monitoring and managing expenses effectively with an eye towards overall cost savings.
- Review and analyze relevant consolidated data to develop a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for Landasan Lumayan Sdn Bhd Corporate Scorecard in alignment with the approved business plan and budget and Rancangan Selangor 1.
- Assist in facilitating and coordinating the preparation of corporate reports on monthly, quarterly, Corporate KPI, and progress updates of the current and ongoing initiatives for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist to lead compilation of monthly progress / performance and review supporting data from project owners and relates to current performance.
- Assist on monitoring organizational performance by tracking progress and ensuring delivery of plans. Identify / highlight issues and propose key mitigation plans to close performance gaps and develop, initiate and monitor the execution of action plans.
- Assist in developing and research on proposals/studies of new initiatives and programmes and coordinate the progress of high impact project with taskforce members.
- Support project team and all other corporate development activities of Landasan Lumayan Sdn Bhd.
- Carry out any other duties, tasks or assignment which will be directed / assigned by the Manager, Strategic Panning & Investment and Director, Strategic Planning & Investment and Management from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy / Finance / Economics / Business Studies / Investment or equivalent.
- At least 3 – 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably has an exposure on strategic planning and investment.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
- Intermediate / Advance in Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint.
- Excellent communication skills in both writing and verbal.
JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION : ADVISOR OF WATER TREATMENT PLANT (WTP)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Studies:
- Conduct preliminary assessments of potential sites, considering hydrogeological, environmental, social, and logistical factors.
- Evaluate water sources, treatment options, and technology alternatives suitable for project objectives.
- Prepare feasibility reports including technical, economic, environmental, and social analyses.
- Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies related to land acquisition, site conditions, and resource availability.
- Project Planning and Design:
- Develop detailed technical specifications and criteria for the water treatment plant.
- Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers to develop design concepts.
- Review and approve detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Assess land and site requirements, ensuring proper land use planning, zoning compliance, and environmental considerations.
- Liaise with landowners, government authorities, and other stakeholders regarding land acquisition, permits, and approvals.
- Land Matters and Site Development:
- Lead the assessment of land parcels for suitability, including soil stability, topography, access, and environmental impact.
- Facilitate land acquisition processes, including negotiations, documentation, and compliance with legal procedures.
- Ensure land clearing, site preparation, and infrastructure development adhere to project standards.
- Address land-related risks such as encumbrances, rights of way, and community concerns.
- Detailed Design and Procurement Support:
- Review and validate detailed designs and technical specifications.
- Support procurement processes by providing technical evaluation of bids and contractor selection.
- Ensure design compliance with national and international standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
- Construction Supervision and Quality Assurance:
- Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and resolve technical issues during construction.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Commissioning and Operational Readiness:
- Develop and oversee commissioning plans, testing procedures, and performance validation.
- Provide technical training and capacity building for operational staff.
- Establish operational protocols, maintenance schedules, and safety procedures.
- Post-Implementation Support:
- Monitor plant performance during initial operational phases.
- Assist in troubleshooting operational issues and optimizing performance.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project completion, lessons learned, and future recommendations.
REQUIREMENTS
- Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Relevant certifications in water treatment or environmental management is an advantage.
- Professional Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, constructing, or managing water treatment plants
- Proven experience with large-scale municipal or industrial water treatment projects
- Demonstrated expertise in water treatment technologies (e.g., filtration, disinfection, chemical dosing)
- Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of water treatment processes and equipment
- Familiarity with Malaysian standards, international standards and best practices
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Ability to evaluate technical proposals, designs, and specifications
- Regulatory & Environmental Knowledge
- Understanding of water quality standards and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of environmental impact assessments and mitigation measures
- Project Management & Coordination
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and consultants
- Experience in overseeing construction, commissioning, and operational start-up
- Skilled in preparing technical reports, feasibility studies, and project documentation
- Communication & Leadership
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to advise and liaise effectively with government agencies, stakeholders, and contractors
- Leadership qualities to guide project teams and facilitate decision-making
- Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
- Experience with automation and SCADA systems
- Knowledge of sustainable and innovative water treatment solutions
- Familiarity with local regulations and conditions in Selangor or Malaysia
JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION : ASSISTANT MANAGER, FINANCE
JOB PURPOSE
You will manage full-set accounting for the company, lead project accounting activities and oversee grant income recognition, tracking and compliance. The post combines day-to-day accounting, month-end reporting and hands-on project/grant accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with funder terms.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and maintain full set of accounts (GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, payroll interface) and support month-end and year-end close.
- Prepare management accounts, variance analysis and commentary for project leaders and senior management.
- To handle project accounting : set up project codes, maintain cost-to-date reporting, recognise project revenus / costs and prepare project Profit & Loss.
- Manage grant income lifecycle : grant recognition, drawdowns, restricted fund tracking, grant accruals and reconciliations against funder budget and terms.
- Prepare grant / donor financial reports and support funder audits.
- Assist with budgets, forecasts and cash-flow planning (project & company level).
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls ; implement process improvements and automation.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.
- Coach and supervise junior accounts staff, help buid SOF’s for project/grant accounting.
REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
- Have more than 5 years progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of full-set accounting and Malaysian accounting/tax compliance.
- Hands-on experience with project accounting, cost tracking and grant/donor reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills; Accounting softwares and ERP experience, an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently and lead small team.
