February 2026 Water Quality Index Update: Monitoring Progress at Key Stations

Water Quality Index update for February 2026 continues to reflect ongoing monitoring efforts across our key stations, Teluk Menegon and Pengkalan Batu.

At Teluk Menegon, it shows an even distribution with 50% of recorded days classified under Water Class 3 (Moderate) and the remaining 50% under Water Class 4 (Poor). This indicates fluctuating conditions that require sustained attention.

Meanwhile, there is a positive improvement compared to last month’s data, with Water Class 3 (Moderate) at Pengkalan Batu increasing from 16% in January 2026 to 21% in February 2026. It reflects a 5% improvement in water quality conditions.

These findings highlight the importance of continuous monitoring to improve overall water conditions and support long-term environmental sustainability.
