Change doesn’t require grand gestures – just willing hands and a patch of earth

On 12 June 2025, 30 volunteers from Canon Opto (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd took part in SMG’s Environmental CSR Programme at Mangrove Point, Klang. They contributed to a mangrove clean-up and planted 100 new saplings.

These hands-on efforts are part of SMG’s ongoing mission to protect coastal ecosystems, reinforce natural flood barriers, and revitalise the Klang River through community-led action.
