A Cleaner Klang River Starts with Us All 

At the Love Sungai Klang mini convention, YB Datuk Ng Suee Lim called on local councils along Sungai Klang to step up efforts to curb pollution and protect this vital waterway.

The Klang River cuts through five residential zones and 11 villages under MBDK, but this isn’t just a downstream issue. Waste travels down the river, so responsibility should extend upriver.

Cleaning the river isn’t enough. Real change needs long-term commitment — from councils, communities, and individuals. That means better waste management, stronger policies, and more environmental awareness.

Together, let’s protect our waterways and build a healthier, more resilient river for future generations.
