Selangor Maritime Gateway ZPE Master Plan Study: Site Inspection via River Expedition

LLSB together with Hikers Climber Adventure Teams organised a boat ride on 21 January 2026 for Kajian Pelan Induk Zon Pembangunan Ekonomi Selangor Maritime Gateway (ZPE SMG).

The journey covered 10 key checkpoints, starting from Taman Awam Pengkalan Batu, Klang, and ending at Seksyen 33, Bukit Kemuning, Shah Alam. Among the locations visited were Interceptor 005 & 002, Mangrove Point, Log Boom Sungai Pinang, Fishermen Jetty at Sungai Sireh & Sungai Delek, the Water Quality Monitoring Station at Jambatan Kota, as well as ongoing dredging works at the Sungai Kandis area.

The session involved government stakeholders, including representatives from PLANMalaysia Selangor, MBSA, MBDK and consultants to support data collection and on-site observations for future planning efforts.
