Celebrating Legacy and Pride: LLSB at the Launch of Gemilang: Sejarah Perjalanan Bola Sepak Selangor

LLSB was proud to stand alongside our valued partner, Selangor FC, at the launch of the book Gemilang: Sejarah Perjalanan Bola Sepak Selangor held at Stadium Merdeka on 15 February 2026.

The event was graced by the presence of DYMM Sultan Selangor and DYTM Raja Muda Selangor, whose speeches set a meaningful tone for the occasion before the official book launch. More than a historical compilation, the book serves as a tribute to those who have shaped Selangor’s football legacy with sales from the book going towards supporting former Selangor players.

Fans and guests were treated to a nostalgic and engaging experience featuring displays of classic jerseys, photos from the past and a timeline highlighting Selangor FC’s historic milestones. The celebration was further enhanced by the presence of veteran players, meet-and-greet sessions with current players and coach as well as a live training session on the field.

The event also featured food & beverage booths and live performances by local bands. Overall, it really reflected the true spirit, pride and heritage of Selangor football.
